Dinner @ Chatterbox

Have you heard of Chatterbox at Mandarin Orchard?

I didn't until Eric told me about it.. It's signature dish, the legendary Chicken rice, costs $27++.

It was really yummy!! (tho I was starving so maybe I'm biased. :x)

His mum is a Marina Mandarin member so we got to eat there 50% off. =D

Eric ordered Fish Head curry and he was pleasantly surprised. He said he hasn't tasted good fish head curry in a while...

And lastly, he ordered the Coconut ice cream for me! Looks pretty fancy tho not spectacular..

Joey's Farewell

It was Joey's last day on the 2nd of June and I spent that whole week preparing for her present.
And that's how i fell sick... sigh.

Anyways I'm really proud of what I came up with heehee, but only took a few pictures of the final product..

Mother's Day Dinner

The Dogs..

I love my dogs!!! They are the cutest things everrrr. And everytime I go home they will stare at me with their (literal) puppy-dog eyes, whining so fervently to be taken out for a walk..

How to say no???

I've been trying to walk them 2x a week, and guilt-tripping my sisters to walk them at least once so they get walked at least 3-4x a week! It's not everyday, but it's so much better than before...

reminiscing with an old friend..

I met up with Nic, my fyp group mate, today. We didn't really know each other in the first few years of uni, but we became friends over the course of my horrible fyp experience. Being dealt with an eccentric prof, an unreliable boss, and irresponsible groupmates, I was really thankful to be in the same group as him. He is one of the most driven and hardworking people I know, who manages to be super personable and entertaining at the same time haha.

Today's dinner was mainly about catching up, what we've been doing, where we are headed.

He's been in the same company as when he first graduated, but he's been given opportunity to go KL and work, and later this month, he will be going Auckland. SO COOL RIGHT?? He has his whole career planned out already, whereas I'm just taking one day at a time seeing what life brings me..

At least I have work-life balance and a love life LOLLL. He says he has to sacrifice such stuff for his career.. =/ I guess we can't all have the best of both worlds.

Time really flies.. I imagine that I'll probably meet him only after his 2 years in Auckland or maybe even longer, depends if he's travelling..

owell.. I was really glad we had this catch up after like 2 years! wayyyy overdue but i'm really glad we managed it! (=

Long Update

HIIII OMG I did not blog for the whole month of May eeps. Been so busy I really haven't had the time or the energy to do so..

A few quick updates here and there.. I've been training quite a bit for badminton lately..Trying to get in shape so that I can represent the company in the Citibank badminton tournament. I'm really excited! I played with a pro at the Shuqun secondary school today. I wasn't really doing anything and he asked me if I would like to play. I was trounced so badly by him! i managed to scrape 8 points in my 8-21 defeat.. It gave me quite the wakeup call that trials won't be so easy...

I've also been training for my Pocari Sweat race in July (everything's happening in July >_<). It's a 5km race and I desperately wanna do before 25min, but I'm not sure exactly how fast to aim for... maybe 24min? See how.. Anyway I was doing slack training for the whole month of May, but now that June is here I'm going to have to start my interval training again! sigh...

Will upload some pictures from here, there, everywhere since I didn't have time to blog about it..

Dorothy Perkins Fashion Show

I spent $80 at Dorothy Perkins some time back and they gave me an invite to attend their fashion show. SO COOL RIGHT? hahah I've never been to one before so I was really excited!

My cousin Kosuke

I have a cousin who is one month old! He's half Jap, half Singaporean, hence the Jap name..And he sleeps alot. =P

We went to my uncle's house to visit and took quite a few pictures with the baby...

I got to carry him! So scarieee hahahaha

My uncle held Kosuke's one month birthday at The Dining Room @Sheraton Towers. It was ~$35 per pax i think, but the food was really gooooood. Kosuke was mostly sleeping so we didn't take any pictures with him. Here's Mei & I with my cutie pie cousin Chloe.
