During the trip, maybe on the 2nd or 3rd night in India, we found out that YL's friend had passed away. The story i heard was that he had a heart attack while playing soccer and had 3 relapses while in hospital before finally passing on..

Initially I didn't feel anything. I wasn't affected by his passing since i didn't know him personally.. But somehow, i found his profile on FB today.. and we have 17 friends in common. Not to mention he's only 1 year my junior, and from SAJC we definitely have more than just 17 friends in common.

On his wall, were several tributes to him by his friends, some of whom are my friends.. And I felt so guilty.. For being so insensitive to my friends' pain.. For being so blessed to be untouched by this tragedy .. >.<

I feel their pain too... It cannot be easy to have a hale and hearty friend just disappear from your life just like that. And you don't even get a chance to say goodbye.. How does one deal with that kind of trauma? I still haven't recovered from Kessie's passing.. I don't know how other people should deal with the same situation and what should i do to help?

Wowee. I've been gone for only 16days. Feels like a whole new exchange experience. :P

There were lots of good and lots of bad on the trip. I feel pretty mixed about the whole trip, but generally glad I went. (: I definitely enjoyed the good.. and it was a real eye-opening experience. (:

I'm going to try to pen down all my thoughts properly, it's pretty hard though.. I'll try my best!

Yali's Bday

OK I'm damn jian. I don't want my blog to rot for 16 days so I'm putting up a few scheduled posts heehee.

Wed night clubbing

i wore this dress today. Matched it with the silver Guess Bag and silver heels. ♥

So today was spent gathering whatever last min stuff i needed for the trip: adapter, ziplock, daddy's orchid pictures. I also cut my hair first thing in the morning. i think it's currently a very manageable length and very pretty! heehee

I also made a trip down to NTUC to buy some snacks as well as the library to get some books regarding Nepal and India. 

Met up with the team: e, gc, p, jy, jk, cal, mel. i was like THE only girl and i thought tonight was really going to suck but it didn't! it helped that we go gc high and jy was around cracking everybody up. XD my feet hurt and my ears are ringing but i don't regret it. 

Now gotta hurry pack! less than 3 hours and only 20% done.

Popo's Birthday

Popo turned 80 this year. To commemorate the event, mummy decided to hold two parties for popo- one in Muar (where her family originally came from), and one in Singapore since she has been residing here since god-knows-when. :P

Mummy was so excited about the event and talked about it all CNY, asking each and every single one of my cousins to do something for her. I got forced into doing up a slideshow with all of popo's old pictures. >.<

Mel broke up with GC.

I feel awful for him.. He's seriously like my best friend now and i don't know how or why. Maybe it's coz we're so similar..

I cannot help but feel his pain.

He has been counting down the days till he goes to Europe to find her.. He has been sending her gifts, emailing, skyping etc. and this happens. He has been living as poorly as i have so that he can go and find her. And to top it off, his devotion shows in that he is totally anit-LDR but he still maintained hope. He still tried. He believed she was THE ONE.

What to do what to do???? I want to be there for him, I'm sure he'll need someone to cry on but maybe i shouldn't go... coz he's not fit for company and he thinks he'll whine/cry/complain etc whatever...

HOW???

Ok I'm going to shower now and take a bus to school...
