Day 2 of our holiday found us dragging our pitiful butts out of bed at the crack of dawn. We had to wake up early to pack and have breakfast before going off for our Phi Phi Islands tour.
Breakfast was rather mehhh.. A simple affair. I was still very stoned.
Our pickup truck was waiting for us whilst we were finishing up our breakfast. And brought us to pick up more passengers from other hotels before dropping us at a small shack in front of a fairly big jetty. It was pretty crowded at this shack with at least 50 people waiting inside. Turns out that business was so good for that tour company they were sending out 3 speed boats for the phi phi island tour!
us on the truck.
signing up!
First view of the jetty.
Me so excited..
<3
The boat ride was expected to take 1hr 30mins to reach our first destination and initially I was so excited. Took loads of pictures of nothingness and stuck my head out of the boat the way dogs stick their head out of a car window.
Strong wind!!
prettyyy
nothing-ness..
random not-so-random island
This random island that we stopped by actually contains many many swallow bird nests that the locals maintain and sell..
So cool they actually use Solar panels!
Next up, Emerald bay.
The water was so clear and calm and it was such a pretty bay area enclosed by the mountains.
My fav pic of the whole trip
wish we went snorkelling here.

It was such a beautiful day and I saw such beautiful sights...
But it was a long day and i was really glad to be heading back around 4pm..
Finally on the pickup back to the hotel!
After washing up, we headed back to town for dinner and the much anticipated foot massage. Eric loves his massages and we missed the opportunity to go the night before..
Our dinner..
my super yummy cashew chicken..
his pad thai..
tomyum soup!!
The massage was really weird.. It was foot massage mixed with foot reflexology.
Damn funny i tell you.. and my masseuse really sucked...
Poor thing was so tired..
that's the last photo of the day! Ahhhh I still have 2 more days to blog about. Halfway there! (:
