SO emo today.

I feel like i did really badly at training today.. Could feel Mr Quek's disapproval and the condescending glances sent my way by everyone else. What happened to her? Why is she so SLOW?!

Rawr i'm so upset!

I kept pushing myself to maintain pace instead of giving up.. I did slow but i know i didn't give up. Then i started cramping at the 9th lap. AT THE BLOODY NINTH LAP! I was almost there already. I wondered whether to give up and not do the 10th, but I told myself to just do it.

Before I even completed one round, my leg was cramping again.. When i reached Mr Quek, I asked him if I should stop and stretch or if I should just jog. Madan told me to stretch and Mr Quek asked me why I stop? It's the last round already.

SERIOUSLY... I know it's the last round! Dammit.

AHHHHHHHHH

Freaking emo. I wanted to finish. I really did.

Not only that. I was freaking slow already... Felt so mopey after training. I left without saying a word to anybody which is really uncharacteristically me. rawr.

I felt like i was going to cry... And I felt like a wounded animal needing to lick my wounds.

I changed my blog template and URL. I don't know really know if i like it. >.<

T and Jie are not around to give me their opinion. I don't wanna spread my blog around to other pple.. I have no one to ask. =/

Oh well..

Short update:

I went back to velocity on Sunday to get a 2nd chance on the obstacle course... We waited from 4pm all the way until it was dark. >.< My team consisted of Melvin, Madan and me! Madan went first, but he fell in at the cargo net (the 3rd course). I was SOOOOOO disappointed! i waited the whole day to go! And we weren't getting any second chances..

Then Azrul's team were really nice about it, they gave us their slot to try again. I was like how happy can?! This time i was the first person to go and i breezed through the first 2 obstacles. The cargo net was not so easy and the final monkey bar thingys was easier than i expected.. Coz of my strategy i guess, i used as little arm power as possible. (:

Unfortunately............ I didn't finish. :(:(:(

At the very last swing, i counldn't grab the bar firmly enough and i fell! I WAS LIKE SO SADD!!!

I mean i tasted the success of completing the whole course then alamak fell at the last second!

BOOHOO.

Ninja Warrior pt 1

I'm so tired... zzz. I woke up bright and early to support the team at the Singapore Ninja Warrior thingy at Novena Square.. the event is otherwise known as Urban Attack at Velocity. 

here's a pic of the obstacle course... don't be deceived! it's very hard! 

We sent in two teams for this event! Azrul, Roy and Veron were on one team, Jinyang, Hui Xiang and Melvin on the other.

 

Unfortunately both teams did not make it through to the next round. Roy fell down after like 5s.. :P Huixiang, Melvin and Veron fell too! but they took longer to fall LOL.

I mean.. JUST look at this! Isn't it daunting?!

Azrul and JY were superrr fast! They are like how ZAI!! :D

Anyway they made 3 more attempts on the obstacle course, but it's not meant to be i guess. They'll try again tomorrow, and maybe make me play! RAAHHH I'm so excited yet so scared!

YAYERS I'M GOING SHANGHAI AND CHENGDU!! WOOHOOOO!!

I had sucha hard time with mum's stupid travel agent. I seriously have no idea why mum uses her. She doesn't reply emails. She MIAs and leaves her colleagues to pick up the slack.. And her colleague is so freakking retarded, she could not even answer one out of the 5 inquiries i asked her and even returned a question to clarify!

So today.. We finally gave up on email and went down to chiantown area to buy our tickets! We couldn't get the 21st-30th June period as originally intended as they were all sold out, but we got July instead, and at much better rates!! :D Singapore-Chengdu, Chengdu-Shanghai, Shanghai-Singapore: TOTAL S$820. freaking awesome! :D

We'll be flying from the 10th-22nd July. 13days ZOMG. But it couldn't be helped. The earlier flight back is too rushed already. 10th-15th we'll be in Chengdu visiting Cai Sang and staying at her place (how awesome is that?! :D) 15th-22nd we'll be in Shanghai. Preferably spending 3 days at expo, the rest making short trips to hangzhou, xi an or maybe suzhou.

The Mannheim gang came over today to catch the Germany world cup match with Serbia.. I haven't seen them in ages.

It felt kinda weird.. I dunno how to explain. It's like we don't really know each other very well.. But we are bonded together by our experience in Mannheim and our love for all things German.

Anyway.. It was sucha horrible match to watch. The yellow cards came out like every 5 mins in the first half.. And Klose even got a red card! It was after his second yellow card.. (when the first was totally undeserving!)

Sucha painful match to watch. Expected Germany to win. Boohoooo

We went swimming and played badminton today. I tried doing 100m of freestyle. I wanted to DIE. It was excruciating. I cannot seem to balance whenever i go slowly.. So i need to swim really quickly and it makes me superr tired! >.<

I didn't swim as much as i would have liked. I'm still feeling really tired from this whole week's activities. And i got more tan BOOHOO! I'm going to petition a new swimming timing so that I won't have to swim in the hot sun any more! :D heehee

After swimming we went to NUS SRC to play badminton. Luckily we caught BTC this time! Yay! no need to pay for the journey! (:

Badminton was still fun. I really enjoy playing.. Thinking about buying new badminton shoes. Don't think i should waste money on new shoes.. But my running shoes are seriously so bulky. >.< Sigh what to do.....

We took a free shuttle to West Coast Plaza after badminton. Eric and i had lunch at MOF. Here's what i ate!  It's like an extra Large Sushi dish. So YUMS! I was craving for sushi... So it was really really really good! :D

We had a party after our outing to WCP. LOL. We tabao-ed orhluat and tangyuan to my place to watch the Argentina-South Korea match.
